Kayaking the Green River

What a trip! My son and I took our kayaks down the Green River through Labyrinth Canyon located just outside Canyonland National Park near Moab, Utah. A mid October trip greeted us with perfect weather and conditions. By this time of year the sandbars are abundant and the silt in the river has subsided revealing why it’s called the Green River. While kayaking roughly 20 miles each day the trip took us 3 days and 2 nights under the stars.
